求教关于mysql导入导出的问题

各位大虾：
      先说一下我的情况：我是在lnmp中想导出数据库news，因为这个news数据库太大，将近200M，所以phpmyadmin 无法导出和导入，所以想通过命令进行。
      问题来了，我用命令行导出，提示出错：

    mysql>/usr/local/mysql/bin/mysqldump -u root -p *** news > 12345.sql;
    提示错误为：
    ERROR 1064 (42000): You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near
    'mysql>/usr/local/mysql/bin/mysqldump -u root -p *** news > 12345.sql;"

    求教各位大虾了。

看到军哥的帖子，我试了一下：
mysql> /usr/local/mysql/bin/mysqldump -uroot -p --all-databases > all.sql
    -> ;

我的是2011年8,9月份的版本，是不是那时的版本无法用这个功能？

犯2了，知道哪里错了。导出命令不应该运行mysql后执行。应该在root下进行。

是ssh命令，不是mysql 里的命令
