如何enable Gzip

我用Wordpress建了个站，安装了缓存插件 Wp fastest cache,
它要求 enable Gzip

这是它的要求
You need to add the following code into /etc/nginx/nginx.conf to enable gzip on nginx servers.

但是，在它指出的位置没有nginx.conf这个文件，我在另一个位置(/usr/local/nginx/conf)上找到了nginx.conf,
我在它的官网上复制了代码粘到nginx.conf的最下边，重启nginx后，网站不见了，把nginx复原后，网站重现。

请问错误出现在哪里？

/usr/local/nginx/conf/vhost/你的域名.conf  建立的主机配置文件在这里

wordpress的缓存 应该很多，试试这个缓存插件：WP-Rocket

gzip都是默认开启的
